Description Robert Half is seeking a committed Financial Analyst to join a growing company. Some of your responsibilities in this role include running financial modeling on a number of financial products and measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will be relied on to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. As part of a dynamic team, you will be a key business partner in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role is based in the Princeton, New Jersey, area and is a long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity. We seek a candidate with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated competency in financial analysis.What you get to do every day
Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Analyze annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations and supply information to business partners to inform decision making
Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Work next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
Work closely with business partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Produce and monitor forecasting reports
Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance
Ideal candidate would have an adaptable nature and experience dealing with vast amounts of information while exceeding expectations
Uncover the influencing factors that are driving performance and trends Requirements
-3 years Finance experience
Month End Close experience required
-Experience with Enterprise Business is a plus
Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience favored)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Finance experience
Financial data experience
Foundational knowledge in Accounting Functions
Comprehensive knowledge of About Time
Perform Ad Hoc Financial experience
Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
