About this role

We're looking for a talented, hands-on, self-driven Senior Salesforce Developer to join a strong and growing Salesforce technology team that supports the full range of asset and wealth management services provided by our lines of business.

As a Senior Salesforce Developer within the Systems Engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing customized solutions within the Salesforce Platform to meet project objectives and company goals. To ensure success in this role, you should have experience working with Salesforce development tools and APIs and possess strong verbal and written skills to effectively collaborate with product owners, architects, cross-functional engineering teams, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality solutions on the platform based on Salesforce best practices, as well as business needs using an Agile methodology
Be responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Aura Lightning platform (AURA, LWC framework), JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, HTML, CSS, and SOAP/REST web services
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to analyze project objectives, code new Salesforce solutions, create customer workflows, maintain user roles, and troubleshoot application errors
Work with cross-functional development teams to implement solutions that require integrations and/or connectivity to other systems
Perform detailed technical analysis based on functional specifications to create reusable components to increase efficiencies of multiple business teams
Lead and contribute to all technical aspects of projects developed
Deploy code and configuration changes across various Salesforce environments with familiarity in using SFDX, Ant Migration Tool, Jenkins for robust change management, and DevOps (CI/CD)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications
Eight-plus years of software development background with prior core Java experience
Five-plus years' relevant Salesforce experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Five-plus years spent working in Salesforce development including custom objects, Apex, triggers, web services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP web services, and migration tools
Four-plus years' experience with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS3, XML, jQuery, JavaScript)
Three-plus years' exposure to Force.com IDE, VSC, CLI, GIT, and Salesforce reports/dashboards
Experience with Salesforce APIs, Salesforce connectors, and middleware solutions such as Kafka and MuleSoft
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to clearly chart processes and data flows
Creative and critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning, prioritizing, team-working, and organizational skills
Ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
