The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, HVAC skills is a plus. The candidate must have the ability to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our residential and commercial properties. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with residents and address their maintenance needs promptly and professionally.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of residential properties to identify maintenance issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain property aesthetics.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
Respond to resident requests in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to residents.
Manage vacant apartments by turning them over in an effective and timely manner.
Have the ability to install and troubleshoot minor repairs of appliances.
Experience
HVAC Skills a Plus
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
Proficiency in English for effective communication with residents and team members.
Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
