About Us:
Mike's Better Shoes is a well-established, footwear retailer with a strong commitment to quality and service for all our customers. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
-Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock and materials.
-Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
-Manage and organize inventory, performing regular stock counts and maintaining accurate records.
-Inspect order for mistakes and report discrepancies to supervisors.
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
-Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
-High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not always required).
-Previous warehouse or related experience is beneficial, but on-the-job training is available.
-Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs repeatedly) and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
-Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
-Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software/scanners is a plus.
-Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player with effective communication skills.
-A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks.
