Job duties include, but are not limited to:Our Veterinary Assistants begin at an entry level position. A typical day requires lots of stocking and cleaning of the entire hospital. As the veterinary assistant learns the flow and ways of the hospital, progression to animal restraint and assisting of other support staff is required. You will at times also interact with pets and their owners; thus, customer service skills are key. You will work directly with the rest of our veterinary team to assure patients and clients receive the best care possible.Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.Whether you’re looking to just be a master of your role or trying to grow into that next career move, you’ll have opportunities through a variety of virtual and hands on, interactive training and continuing development.
