POSITION DESCRIPTION The main duties include, but are not limited to: Develop leadership strategies for sustaining facility operations Coordinate brainstorming sessions and generate creative problem-solving approaches Responsible for planning, managing, and controlling projects to ensure continuation of technical progress with limited resources and within limited facilities Provide guidance, direction, coordination, initiation of work, organization, and evaluation consistently in project execution and systems. Interface with stakeholders including engineers, technicians and highly skilled personnel Develop and enforce work standards, Ensure deliverables meet or exceed schedule, cost and quality requirements Provide quality assurance and configuration management, Coordinate the review of project risk with management and provide status reporting Participate in and coordinate project rescue efforts designed to extract maximum potential value from a project in its current state. Communicate goals, objectives, and policies of the organization to other stakeholder. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 10+ years of related experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Project Management/Program Management experience, Skilled at developing leadership strategies for sustaining facility operations supported by engineers, technicians and highly skilled personnel, Able to manage multiple complex, technical projects and oversee the coordination, Ability to give presentations explaining accomplishments and business strategies, Skilled at organizing and structuring the work, Able to lead and collaborate with highly technical people focused on executing the technical details, Understands project logistics, Ability to obtain a Q clearance, Able to work on-site, Ability to work in a diverse work environment, Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening, Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience on DOE sites and programs, PMP certification preferred, Experience in sustaining the facilities in a high technology area.
