Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ceramic Tile Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, attention to detail, and proficiency with various tools and techniques related to tile installation. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within the construction industry and involves working on diverse projects that enhance both functional and aesthetic aspects of buildings.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar.

Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.

Install ceramic tiles on floors, walls, countertops, and other surfaces according to blueprints and schematics.

Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and grout application for a seamless finish.

Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes.

Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials safely.

Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications.

Follow safety protocols on-site including proper use of heavy equipment operation when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in ceramic tile laying or related construction roles such as flooring installation or masonry.

Knowledge of various construction skills including drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, plastering, fabrication, roofing, fixture installation, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, painting, concrete finishing, masonry, remodeling, welding, flooring installation, heavy equipment operation, restoration work, and masonry is advantageous.

Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety standards related to construction inspection and site management is preferred. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about craftsmanship in the construction industry who are eager to contribute to high-quality building projects while developing their skills across multiple trades within a dynamic team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
