Position Overview:
Armaspec is seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain and logistics operations. The Logistics Manager will play a critical role in ensuring efficient distribution of our products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and managing relationships with vendors and carriers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
Manage and coordinate transportation and distribution of products to ensure timely delivery.
Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate tracking of stock levels.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers.
Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to meet company objectives.
Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics management, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Knowledge of inventory management best practices and supply chain principles.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation Range: $65k-$85k a year (Comp DOE)
This position is at our Moriarty, NM facility.
Job Type: Full-time, in person
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hrs day shift with 30min lunch
