Project-based document drafting and review for real estate law firm. This is a contract role for primarily residential real estate document preparation and review. You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing deeds and other short form legal documents. Flexible assignments include reviewing legal documents, reviewing property records, interpreting legal descriptions, and verifying ownership interests.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys to supplement a growing law practice.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited school of law required

Active New Mexico license in good standing required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Familiarity with various real estate related legal documents and transactions

Ability to work remotely and accept time-sensitive requests

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and work with tight schedules

Flexible – work from anywhere

Excellent written communication skills

Reliable internet
