Qualifications:
- Wood Fired pizza skills preferred, pizza making skills a must
- Must have kitchen hustle, no slackers
- Must take pride in your work
- Must be dependable
- Must have good time management skills
- Must be able to work shifts alone at times
- Must be professional in attitude, appearance and work ethic
- Basic kitchen knowledge and fundamentals required
Duties:
- Prep food for the day/week
- Make dough
- Stretch dough, top pizzas, cook finish and serve pizzas
- Clean kitchen and work areas to a high standard (small space)
- Manage a wood fired oven
- Take inventory and rotate product
This is a small pizza operation that can get busy at times but generally a moderately paced tempo. Wood fired pizza making is an artisan skill and takes time and patience to fully master but is extremely rewarding. This is an open kitchen environment but you are not responsible for taking orders or handling cash. Guest contact is minimal.
