Science Entertainment Enterprises (SEE) - Los Alamos, NM is an independent film initiative seeking to hire part-time Prop/Set Construction Assistance to join our team to create a Sci-Fi Medical EduDocuComedy TV film series.
Duties will include building a Sci-Fi Hybrid Studio, the physical set, robotic characters, and props and will entail planning to merge CGI and puppetry with vintage medical and scientific apparatus to gear up our characters to travel through a quantumly deranged cosmos. Experience with power tools and mechanical, electrical, or material fabrication (including metal, fiberglass, and plastic) is ideal with a vision for sci-fi.
The position starts at 10-20 hours per week with potential for full-time. Knowledge of technical equipment and having artistic attributes and interests to learn or knowledge of science and medicine is favorable.
This position involves some heavy lifting and may entail other duties as assigned. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Punctuality and professionalism are a must. A commitment to maintaining a safe and substance-free work environment is required.
