We are a small web development and creative media services company based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Our team consists of web and graphic designers, web server administrators, and audio/video post-production specialists. We also maintain a web hosting server and sell hosting packages to clients.
We are seeking a part-time Web Developer / Web Services Assistant to join our team - MUST be located in Santa Fe or nearby. This job will entail in-office and remote work (percentage negotiable).
Responsibilities:
Assist with web development projects.
Assist in maintaining company web server (Linux) and provide customer support for web and email hosting clients.
Manage company's and clients' Google AdWords accounts and other online marketing systems.
Requirements:
At minimum seven (5) years of experience developing and maintaining websites.
At minimum five (5) years of experience in graphic design.
Sufficient comprehension of PHP, CSS, JS to create custom designs and troubleshoot existing custom and third-party configurations.
High degree of experience with WordPress, including knowledge of best practices: security, proper server software config, caching systems, CDN, and plugin management. Most of our clients use WordPress, but knowledge of Joomla, Drupal and other CMS helpful.
Experience with PHPBB forums useful.
Experience with LMS useful.
Creative development portfolio of websites.
Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of Linux server administration a plus - we manage a dedicated Linux web host server with multiple VPS containers.
Knowledge of online marketing systems, including Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager a plus.

We are endeavoring into mobile app development. Access to company educational resources and paid training time possible dependent on aptitudes.
$30-40 / hr @ 10-20 hours per week to start, 1099 contractor. Potential to grow into 30 hrs per week - FTE (W2) in early 2019.
