We are seeking an experienced, customer-facing Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex software projects. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, translating business needs into clear delivery plans while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality. You will collaborate closely with customers, IFS global consultants, engineers, product managers and leadership to manage expectations, mitigate risks, and drive outcomes that create real customer value. Strong communication, stakeholder management, project management, commercial management and a proven track record in software delivery are essential. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), or FSM (Field Service Management) software implementation projects.Own project planning, governance, reporting, and delivery outcomes.Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and change requests.Act as the senior customer interface, providing clear communication and progress reporting.Coordinate and lead cross-functional and global delivery teams.Ensure projects follow IFS implementation methodologies and quality standards.Manage project financials, forecasting, and invoicing in collaboration with Finance.Support pre-sales activities when required, including customer presentations and proposals. Qualifications & Experience5–10 years’ experience managing complex software or ERP implementation projects.Proven experience delivering full lifecycle ERP, EAM, or FSM projects.Strong customer-facing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Solid commercial and financial project management experience.Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile delivery methodologies.Degree in a technical discipline, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification.PRINCE2, PMP, or similar certification highly regarded. Additional informationRole CompetenciesCompetency in IFS Implementation Methodologies with the ability to coach and educate others.Strong command of project management tools, processes, and governance frameworks.Maintains objectivity and sound judgement under pressure.Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.Capable of influencing outcomes, driving change, and monitoring progress within project constraints.Politically astute with strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.Highly effective facilitator of meetings, workshops, and steering committees.Ability to identify when specialist technical or functional expertise is required and engage appropriate resources.Proven ability to mentor and support the development of junior team members.Strong understanding of IFS contractual frameworks (SOWs and MSAs) and the ability to interpret and apply them. Ability to contribute to or draft contractual documentation where required.Comprehensive understanding of IFS Success Offerings with the ability to confidently present these to customers.
