The Legislative Library serves the research and information needs of the NYS Senate, the NYS Assembly, and legislative staff. In this dynamic role, you will:Provide professional library services by performing legislative reference work, including providing legal research assistance to legislators and staff, utilizing the library’s print and electronic resourcesAssist library visitors on a ready reference basis by locating materials, answering questions, and assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of library materials Other duties and special projects as assigned Additional Comments This position is Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, 9.00AM-5.00PM with some unpredictable evening hours during the legislative session (January-June).Salary range is $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with education and experience.Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to jobs@nysenate.gov.
