As a key player in our organization, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring critical parts to keep our operations running smoothly. Description:
Collaborate with maintenance team to understand the specific parts and materials needed for repairs, replacements, or maintenance tasks
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with multiple vendors to inquire about availability, pricing, and delivery timelines of required parts
Initiate purchase orders accurately, specifying the required parts, quantities, delivery dates, and any other relevant details
Verify the quality and compatibility of received parts with the specifications provided, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly
Keep detailed records of all transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery receipts, and vendor communications
Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must haves:
Manufacturing parts knowledge, need to know the difference between bearings, various sizes and maintenance parts for large machinery.
Computer skills and a great communicator
Strong investigative skills in order to source parts from various vendors.
