Stella is looking for experienced, reliable, and hardworking individuals that are comfortable in a fast paced, casual, high quality restaurant, brewery, and entertainment venue in Schenectady’s Historic Stockade District.

Who we're looking for:

Line Cook:

A skilled and passionate Line Cook with experience working in high-volume kitchens and a focus on maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Applicants must be able to prepare and execute both our Italian-American style Dinner Menu & our fast. paced Pub style Bar Menu according to Chef’s recipes and specifications. We expect our Line Cooks to work efficiently and communicate with an already established culinary team to ensure smooth workflow and timely preparation of our food, and to be part of positive and collaborative work environment among kitchen staff and other team members. Weekend / Holiday availability a must.

Dishwasher:

A hard working and dependable Dishwasher that maintains a clean and orderly workstation throughout busy dinner and brunch services. Able to adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients, as well as regular cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment. Opportunities for advancement within the kitchen, learning directly from our owner and executive Chef. Weekend / Holiday availability a must.

Bartender:

A knowledgeable and professional Bartender with in a fast paced environment, with prior knowledge of preparing craft cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages according to recipes. Proper bar maintenance such as cleanliness, inventory and proper cash and alcohol handling is expected. A minimum of three shifts per week availability is a must, with a preference for weekend availability.

Host/Hostess:

An experienced host with flexible availability and prior customer service experience, who demonstrates proactive initiative in welcoming and greeting guests to the venue in a courteous and professional manner. An individual who will ensure guests are seated and receive attentive service, and manage table turnover efficiently. Applicant should be comfortable answering phones, scheduling reservations, and entering takeout order into a point-of-sales. A minimum of two days availability is a must, with a preference for weekend availability.
