Searching a part time/ full time worker for our busy tree/excavation business.
Someone with experience in the tree/excavation industry is preferred. Need to be reliable, have reliable transportation, be ok wearing safety equipment.
A tree groundsman's job description includes a variety of physical tasks, such as:
Tree maintenance: Trimming branches, pruning, and fertilizing trees and shrubs
Equipment operation: Using chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, handsaws, and pole saws
Loading and hauling: Moving brush, wood, and limbs to trucks
Job site cleanup: Cleaning up debris and ensuring the job site is safe
Supporting crew members: Assisting tree climbers and other crew members
Maintaining equipment: Keeping personal gear, crew gear, and equipment in good condition
Following safety guidelines: Wearing required PPE and ensuring safety procedures are followed
Communicating: Working with team members and clients to ensure good communication
Tree groundsmen should be physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual work in all weather conditions. They should also have good communication skills and attention to detail
