We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager for a historic property in Troy, NY, that is about to be renovated. This role is crucial both during the renovation phase and after the project is completed, as you will oversee basic maintenance and manage tenant relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate basic maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains in good condition during the renovation.
Act as the primary point of contact for contractors and other service providers.
I'd like you to conduct regular inspections of the property to promptly identify and address any issues.
After renovation, manage tenant relations, including leasing, rent collection, and addressing tenant concerns.
Please ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
I'd like for you to maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, tenant interactions, and financial transactions
related to the property.
Expected Hours:
Approximately 5-10 hours per month for the first 6 months during the renovation phase.
Approximately 10-15 hours per month after the renovation is completed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Property Manager, preferably with historic properties.
Strong understanding of property management and maintenance procedures.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
