We’re looking for a reliable, skilled handyman to handle maintenance and repair tasks across portfolio of residential properties. This is ideal for someone looking for flexible side work with the potential to grow into regular hours or a larger role over time.
What you will do:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and unclogging drains
- Repair / replace drywall, doors, locks, cabinets, and windows
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
- Conduct seasonal upkeep (e.g., winterization, snow removal)
- Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, weeding, and leaf removal as needed
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct property inspections and report issues
- Install appliances or fixtures as needed
- Coordinate with vendors or specialists for tasks beyond skill level
- Document work completed, including date, time, and description of service
Ideal Candidate:
- Must own basic tools and transportation
- Reliable, respectful, and communicates well
- Can work independently and manage time effectively
- Available for occasional urgent fixes
Bonus If You Have:
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC
- Experience working with landlords or property managers
- Familiarity with platforms like Buildium or maintenance tracking apps
