Assures scheduled deliveries leave on time and arrive on time
Coordinates delivery vehicle cleaning and fueling
Ensures vehicle readiness and inspect vehicles prior to the start of service
Documents reports of needed repairs or damage to vehicles
Assists VP of Operations in coordinating scheduled vehicle maintenance
Performs a variety of office tasks to assist in receipt and delivery operations
Performs other related duties as required
Daily reviews of current delivery status with the VP of Operations and directly affected personnel
Communicates with VP of Operations and management team regarding transportation and delivery issues and conflicts
Properly manages delivery schedule, records, and reports status to VP of Operations
Obey current CFM policies and operational procedures related to transportation and delivery
Safely operate delivery vehicles
Knowledge of existing delivery routes
Effectively schedule and coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials
Maintain effective working relationships with all customers and vendors
Operate a cellular or two-way radio and remain calm in emergency situations
Maintain a valid CDL, Class B, with Passenger Endorsement, and NO Airbrake Restriction
Work varying hours (i.e. 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on Saturdays, as required) and perform the essential functions of the job
