EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency, is looking for a dedicated Forensic Case Manager to join our Bronx Mental Health Diversion Program. Position:Forensic Case ManagerLocation:Bronx, NYSchedule:Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMCompensation:$25 per hour, 35 hours per weekReports To:Program Director What You'll Do: As a Forensic Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with substance abuse and mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

Liaison Role:Serve as the key contact between courts, correctional facilities, and clients, ensuring proper screening and treatment planning.

Client Support:Conduct comprehensive screenings, facilitate referrals to appropriate treatment facilities, and assist clients with transportation as needed.

Benefit Assistance:Help clients navigate and apply for public and private benefits.

Case Management:Maintain thorough case documentation, monitor client progress, and coordinate with treatment personnel and the court.

Reporting:Prepare and present detailed status reports to the court regarding client progress.

Additional Duties:Recommend supportive services, conduct toxicology testing, and make timely visits to treatment and correctional facilities.

What We're Looking For:

Education:Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social work, counseling, forensic psychology, psychology, sociology, criminology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience:At least 2 years of experience in mental health, substance use, or criminal justice programs, particularly with criminal justice-involved participants.

Skills:Strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and other automated systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with treatment and criminal justice systems.
