CareGivers is assisting a family in recruiting nurses (LPN or RN) to provide care for a client on a ventilator in Buffalo NY. This is aprivate hire opportunity, CareGivers will conduct the initial interviews, and refer qualified candidates to the client for further contact. If selected for hire, the nurse will be directly employed by the client.Duties include personal care including feeding, bowel regimen, transfer with Hoyer, extensive turning & positioning, feeding tube care, and medication management. Other duties may be assigned by the client or client’s family as needed.The client is located in Buffalo NY (North Buffalo area).Pay rate to be discussed with client, range is $25 – $35 / hrAvailable shifts are
Saturday 7pm to 7am
Sunday 7pm to 7am
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a LPN or RN currently licensed to practice in New York State
Must be competent in all skills required for the job.
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required.
Must have reliable transportation.
