PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (Buffalo)

Seeking an experienced pharmacy technician for a community pharmacy in Buffalo, New York.
Salary commensurate with experience, but very competitive.
Must have pharmacy tech experience, at least 1 year.
Experience with pharmacy software.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Assisting patients in person and on the phone by answering inquiries, calling doctors or insurance companies, and handling the register;
Maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock regularly, and anticipating needed medications and supplies;
Working with pharmacists to help prepare and dispense medication, including mixing, counting, measuring, and labeling medication;
Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with applicable procedures, rules, and regulations;
Maintaining records by filing doctor's orders and prescriptions.
