Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Delivery Driver/Installer for a local furniture company in the Cheektowaga, NY area. This is a temp to hire position with excellent benefits once hired on
Shift: Mon-Fri anywhere from 6:30am-4:00pm (with some flexibility)
Pay Rate: $17-18.75/hr. based on experience
Daily tasks will include:
Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks to deliver products to job site
Assist in conveyance of product from trucks into job site/buildings as required
Assist in the unwrapping and de-trashing of product for installation
Reference installation drawings and paperwork to understand assignments
Take direction from Job Captains & Project Managers for daily expectations
Assist in installation of furniture as required
Assist in the removal of trash from job site which includes correct final locations of trash & recycling
Assist in maintaining trucks
Assist in maintaining warehouse & tool room
Becomes familiar with furniture lines, differences and installation techniques
Attends training sessions as outlined by Development Team
Completes time sheets daily/weekly
Follows safety guidelines
Requirements:
Mechanically inclined and comfortable with basic hand tools (prior assembly experience preferred)
Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Must have valid NYS driver’s license
Customer service oriented
Good communication skills and teamwork
Upon being hired on, benefits include:
Minimum of 2 bonuses a year around $350 - $750 (one mid summer and one before the holidays)
