At Hertel Ave Laundry, our goal is to provide a superior washing experience by providing the cleanest store, the best customer service, and access to plenty of modern and well maintained large capacity washers and dryers.
We are hiring a part time attendant for overnights, midnight to 8am. This will include weekends.
Job Description:
Assist self-service laundry customers as needed with washers, dryers, coin machines, vending machines and washer/dryer issues. Maintain cleanliness of store, machines, and customer satisfaction.
Attendant Responsibilities:
Maintains cleanliness of store by wiping countertops, machine tops and soap receptacles
Make sure trash and recycling containers are not overflowing
Ensure garbage and recycling containers are put to curb on appropriate garbage days and returned the following day
Floors are swept, mopped and kept dry and clear of debris
Keeps bathroom clean and stocked
Help customers using washers, dryers and vending machines and coin machines
Check lint screens for lint and cleans lint filters as necessary to maintain optimum efficiency of dry
Reports any equipment not working properly to management.
Provide refunds to customers
Restock soap vending machines, and report on inventory counts
Clean parking lot
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to work under pressure with a variety of customers and personalities
Must be good with people and work well with others
Ability to work in multiple work locations is a plus
