We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our manufacturing team whose focus will be on developing, coordinating, and implementing training programs for our workforce. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of team members, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the evolving needs of our manufacturing teams.

- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring logistical details are handled efficiently.

- Collaborate closely with General Manager & HR Manager to assess training needs and align programs with company objectives.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement. - Work closely with Safety Coordinator to address safety procedures and adjust training programs to reflect any safety concerns - Maintain accurate training records and manage training schedules to ensure compliance with industry and company standards. - Serve as a point of contact for training-related inquiries and provide support to employees throughout their learning journey.

- Stay up-to-date with new training methods and technologies to enhance the educational experience. - Keep track of lumber inventory -Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications:

- HS diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in the manufacturing setting

- Proven experience in a training coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse workforce.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Forklift experience required

- Experience in pallet industry preferred

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $24+/hr based on experience.

Probation: Review after 90 days.

Expected hours: 40 per week with occasional OT

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm

Work Location: Clarence, NY
