Fusion Ave Inc. (Helmedach & Young) is a reputable and well-established tax firm based in Catskill, New York. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file individual and small business tax returns (C-Corp and S-Corp).
Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and ensure compliance with Federal and State tax laws.
Represent clients before the IRS when required (audits, appeals, etc.).
Develop effective strategies to minimize client tax liabilities.
Maintain clear communication and provide professional support to clients.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of U.S. Federal and State tax laws.
Proficiency in taxation and accounting software.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work extended hours during tax season.
Compensation
$22.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
Work Schedule
Seasonal Period: January 15, 2026 – April 15, 2026
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM (up to 70 hours per week)
Note: No weekends off during this period.
