We are looking to hire a commendable sous chef to join our kitchen. The sous chef will assist with tray line production, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, and friendly professional interaction with clientele.

To ensure success you will deliver high-quality, cost-effective dishes promptly. Top candidates are creative, service-oriented and level-headed.

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

Ensuring promptness, freshness and quality of dishes.

Coordinating time management of daily and weekly tasks.

Maintaining hygiene policies and examining and upkeeping equipment for cleanliness.

Assisting with the designing of new recipes, planning menus and plate presentation.

Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.

Greets residents, visitors and staff courteously and in a manner that respects dignity, confidentiality standards and promotes residents and staff rights

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area and dining area

Up – To – Date knowledge of cooking techniques

Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints

Qualifications:

ServSafe Food Handlers Credential

Previous experience in food service is preferred.

Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instruction.
