We at Seven X Motors are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing & repairing vehicles at our repair shop. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Candidates are expected to have all tools needed to complete repairs and have at least 5 years experience working in a garage as a mechanic.
Responsibilities
-Must have at least 5 years experience in a automotive shop.
-Must have references
-Diagnose mechanical problems by using computers and diagnostic tools.
-Maintain and repair automobile, light truck and SUV engines, transmissions, differentials and drive trains.
-Must have your own basic automotive tools be able to perform routine daily jobs.
-Perform overhauls, like cleaning and repair or replacing of shock absorbers, fuel filters, brakes and thermostats, etc.
-Inspect vehicles for road worthiness and safety (e.g. check for damaged tires, lights, hoses etc.).
-Lubricate moving engine parts (e.g. pistons, crankshafts).
-Repair and replace damaged parts of the engine and transmission system.
-Test drive the car after repairs to check for proper function.
Qualifications
-Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role
-Proficiency with diagnostic tools
-Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components
-Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
-Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus but not required
