This position will work in close concert with production control, operational management, and sales to support customer's needs. The position requires flexibility in work schedule to meet customer's expectations on a day-to-day basis. A general working knowledge of computers and use of will be required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.Matches shipment schedules to customer requirementsGenerates packing lists, Certificates of Conformance, shipping labels, bar code labels, bills of lading, and any other packaging documentation which may be required for shipment.Utilizes shipping carrier software systems, such as UPS, Federal Express, DHL and any other shipping companies to generate appropriate shipment documentationPrepares and packages components into appropriate size shipping containers.Contacts appropriate shipment carriers and freight forwarders when applicable to arrange for shipment of packages, pallets etc.Maintains inventory of required shipping containers, labels, foam, etc.Performs daily cycle counts & maintains informationPerforms receiving transactions within ERP system for raw material and RMA'sRelabels Partner Product items and prepares for shipmentCloses out work orders when requiredAssists Senior Planner with linking & unlinking finished goods to work orders when necessaryRelinks finished goods to sales orders when necessaryRuns daily shipping reports to ensure all items have shipped as scheduledAssists in kitting raw materials for shipment to subcontractorsAssists in any other duties that are critical to the success of shipping or general operationsQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED requiredThe qualified candidate would benefit by having a working knowledge of API Delevan products and processes as acquired over at least one year. In lieu of this experience, relevant outside experience will be considered.Intermediate computer skills requiredPrior experience with Oracle or similar ERP program desiredAssociates must be willing to work flexible schedules to accommodate unplanned shipment needs of customers.
