Job Title: Coffee Inventory ClerkJob DescriptionProvide Office Beverage or Office Coffee Service in a designated client facility. Hours are 6am to 3:30pm.Responsibilities
Receive, fill, and place stock coffee items and supplies inside pantries or cafeterias within customers throughout NYC.
Place stock in cabinets, on shelves, coffee racks, or in designated coolers, rotating product to ensure first in and first out utilization.
Record transactions on appropriate delivery tickets and/or electronic devices.
Accountable for all receipts of goods, invoice or delivery ticket, cash received or collected, and product.
Inform regular customers of new products or services; listen to and resolve service complaints; set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
Perform routine maintenance on and sanitation of office coffee and water equipment; conduct minor repairs and adjustments on machines such as adjusting flow meters, cleaning brewer spray-heads, de-liming brew valves, and replacing small machine components.
Report all out-of-service equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatcher.
Maintain a clean and organized storage room, establish product par levels, and order replacement inventory to ensure adequate supplies to meet client needs while maximizing product rotation.
Understand and practice food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
Comply with company and departmental policies and standard operating procedures, and report any unsafe acts or work conditions to the appropriate manager.
