A Client Service Representative is a professional who plays a vital role in ensuring that the organizations clientele receive the support and assistance they need. They are the initial point of contact for individuals in need of services, answer questions, and address concerns along with helping to resolve issues that may arise. This individual will work with clients to guide
them through our process, act in a supportive manner, offer suggestions for additional services while creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assists the Executive Director in maintaining programs and volunteers
per the guidelines of Helping Hands.
This position also assists in determining client eligibility for program
benefits under set parameters.
Primary point person for those seeking assistance from the food pantry
and furniture barn.
Refer requests for financial assistance to the Executive Director.
Responsible for proper recording of stats for the day, week, and month
for all areas.
Oversee Helping Hands in the absence of the Executive Director, answer
phones, and return phone messages, track inventory, assist in Food Bank
orders and other duties as needed.
Participate in the creation, organization, and execution of fundraising events.

Helping Hands also provides financial assistance with vehicle repair, dental care, utility bills and critical home repairs. In addition, a free supply of home goods and furnishings is available to all St. Lawrence County residents.
