Prepare and operate machinery used for surface preparation, ensuring all equipment is set to the correct specifications.
Monitor the flow and application of materials such as polishing compounds or other surfacing products.
Safely pour material into machinery ensuring a consistent and controlled delivery.
Operate control panels and buttons to start and regulate the machinery involved in the surfacing or polishing processes.
Conduct regular quality checks on output to ensure products meet the required finish and specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety standards and prevent contamination of materials.
Adjust machine settings based on feedback from quality control checks to optimize production and achieve the desired surface finish.
Document production quantities, machine operation times, and any incidents or irregularities occurring during the shift.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to facilitate machinery repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime.
Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and effective work environment.
