Looking to hire event cooks for the remainder of outdoor event season. Pay 27 an hour plus tips (usually 150 to 300 depending on the size of event and amount of staff)
Roll/responsibilities of an event cook include but not limited to
-Show up on time for event
-Unload trucks and trailer and set up outdoor kitchen
-Very light prep day of event.
-Plate canapes, grill vegtables and/or meat
-Setting up your station to execute the dish(s) you have been assigned
-Breakdown pop up kitchen and load the trailer/truck in a quick organized manner
-Everyone is required to able to lift heavy objects. Everything we own is heavy and some of it fragile.
-There are many hands on staff and someone can always assist on a carry.
Our commissary kitchen is located in Esopus but none of the events are held here.
It would be ideal to have your own mode of transportation or you can car pool with other team members. Events range from Maine all the way down to Jersey
This is only for events typically on Saturday, sometimes Friday or Sunday. This is not a full time job. This is seasonal.
Room to grow for the year after. You can take all events the following year or however many you want. We release the event 2025 schedule in March or April so there will be plenty of time for you to plan ahead with your main job.
