We’re seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and elevate the guest experience at our high-volume restaurant and bar.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage staff schedules (FOH/BOH) for optimal coverage and labor control
Oversee liquor, beer, and wine inventory – ordering, receiving, cost tracking, and vendor relations
Administer fair and compliant tip pool distribution (including POS reporting and audits)
Optimize flow of operations – from opening checklists to closing procedures and service standards
Plan and execute private events (buyouts, tastings, corporate dinners) – menu design, pricing, staffing, and client communication
Collaborate on menu development – costing, seasonal updates, and chef partnerships
Maintain P&L accountability – labor, CoGS, and expense management
Ensure health, safety, and liquor law compliance (serving certifications, inspections, etc.)
Lead, train, and motivate a team of 30+ staff with a focus on culture and retention
Requirements:
3+ years GM experience in a full-service restaurant/bar ($2M+ annual revenue)
Proven track record in liquor cost control (<22% pour cost) and labor efficiency
Strong POS knowledge (Toast, Aloha, or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
Experience with tip pool structures and private event sales
Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
