About Us:

Formed in 2013, Tax Practice Pro is an IRS, NASBA, and Texas Board of Accountancy approved provider of continuing education to Enrolled Agents, CPAs, attorneys, and tax professionals. Our goal is to provide affordable, live continuing education to all practitioners via webinars.

Our subscription-based business model provides 25-30 hours of new, live content each month from May through January. Most months feature a theme, such as "Trust Me," "Tax Planning," and each November, "Getting the Tax Office Ready!" All programs are recorded, giving members access to 300 hours of fresh content each year.

Job Details:

Weekly Scheduled Hours: 20

Location: This is an in-office position at our offices in Chester, NY.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service to subscribers and attendees of our programs. Ensure clear and professional communication and services. Maintain a positive attitude.

- Customer service may include basic technical support for users on the learning platform for live and recorded webinars.

- Provide accurate and appropriate information to attendees, subscribers, and other constituents via phone and email within designated periods. Support management as directed.

- Provide registration support for enrollees and subscribers. Maintain accurate information in customer management systems. Respond to requests for replacement certificates.

- Collaborate with third-party content providers and stakeholders to achieve company goals.

Internal Support Responsibilities:

- Assist in setting up webinars on the learning management system.

- Review reports and quizzes weekly for self-study programs to determine CE qualification.

- Under the guidance of the Director of Programs, prepare reporting information for the regulators who license us.

- Maintain timely databases to ensure our regulatory compliance.

- Coordinate with the Director of Programs and external stakeholders, including the social media/creative team and electronic communications team.

- Support live webinars as a backup on-air host.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency with computers and the internet required.

- Ability to adapt to new software easily.

- Possess a technical aptitude.

- Bonus: Ability to perform light video editing.

Required Qualifications:

- One year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level, or two years of clerical experience.

- Superior organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.

- Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other staff.

- Demonstrated ability to perform as an effective team member.

- Superior writing skills.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Ability to work with varied clientele.

- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Aptitude to learn new software systems, with the ability to navigate between multiple systems.

- Experience performing complex administrative functions.

- Punctuality, regular attendance, and a professional demeanor.

- Must have reliable personal transportation daily.

Salary Range: $21-$25. Paid days off during your first year. 401(k) plan and profit-sharing after one year of service.
