CARPENTER:

Strong organizational skills and experience in production workflow

3-5 years of experience building and assembling furniture

Excited by the challenge of working with repurposed materials

Experience with woodworking joinery and jigs

Experience reading and building from assembly prints

Experience in all sanding and finishing techniques

Ability to navigate well with all basic carpentry tools

Must be reliable and have a positive attitude

Ability to work beyond 40 hours per week if required

Possess an ability to problem solve different aspects of engineering the production of a piece

A motivated and design-oriented team player

Familiarity with other materials such as resin, metal and stone a plus

We are a sustainable interior design studio based in Hudson, NY. We create tiny homes, custom furniture and commercial interiors from 99% rescued materials. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in multiple areas of carpentry with the ability to work on designs from conception to completion. We are looking to add a talented individual to our team with dynamic skills and a passion for all aspects of the production, from the structural to the creative elements. You possess advanced carpentry skills along with proficiency in all areas of fabrication including painting, crafting, sanding and finishing. Metalworking is a plus. You will also be responsible for assisting with local pick-ups from our partners in the neighborhood. Having a drivers license is not required but a . You must have a good attitude about doing all aspects of the job, understanding everything you do is a chance to learn. We are a tight knit team who work in unique and creative ways.

METAL WORKER/ WELDER

Mastery of basic metal working tools such as Mig and Tig welding apparatuses

Ability to identify metals ie: galvanized iron, copper, steel, aluminum

Precise eye for measurement and attention to detail when using tools

Experience cutting sheet metal by hand or using power shears

Use scribers, dividers and squares to mark dimensions on materials

Must be reliable and have a positive attitude

Ability to weld with precision and a meticulous eye for finishing and smoothing edges

Strong organizational skills and experience in production workflow

Experience with reading and building from assembly prints

Ability to work beyond 40 hours per week if required

Possess strong critical thinking skills and work independently

The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in multiple areas of welding with the ability to work on designs from conception to completion. We are looking to add a talented individual to our team with dynamic skills and a passion for all aspects of production from the structural to the creative elements. Because all of our furniture is made from re-use materials, you must be willing to work with unique materials and find creative ways to transform them with our team. You possess advanced metalworking skills. Woodworking is also plus as most of the pieces we work on are often a combination of wood and metal. You will also be responsible for assisting with local pick-ups from our partners in the neighborhood. Having a license is not required but a plus.
