Position Summary

The Warehouse Control Associate / Driver plays a key role in supporting day-to-day operations for a fast-paced print, packaging, and fulfillment company.

This position is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, organizing, and preparing inventory for production and shipment, as well as driving a non-CDL 26-foot box truck for afternoon deliveries and pickups.

You’ll help keep the warehouse clean and organized, support production on the floor, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and in line with company safety and quality standards.

(For the right person, this role has potential to grow into a more advanced warehouse control or leadership position.)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare for deliveries by loading the truck and verifying paperwork for both drop-offs and pickups.

Drive a non-CDL 26-foot box truck for local deliveries and pickups in the afternoon.

Perform daily truck checks and light maintenance (fuel, cleanliness, basic inspections) and promptly notify the Manager of any service needs.

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments; verify quantities and check for damage or defects.

Sort, label, and store products in designated areas of the warehouse.

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders following established procedures and documentation.

Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment to move inventory safely within the warehouse.

Monitor inventory levels with the Project Manager/warehouse team and help maintain accurate records of stock movements and discrepancies.

Assist with routine cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.

Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized (sweeping, disposing of packing materials, consolidating pallets, etc.).

Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Follow all company safety procedures and protocols at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and/or Production Manager.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse-related certifications are a plus.

Experience driving a 26-foot truck (non-CDL) and comfort navigating local routes.

Basic understanding of truck upkeep and routine maintenance checks.

Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or shipping/receiving roles.

Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.).

Physically able to lift and carry heavy items and stand/walk for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and paperwork.

Clear verbal communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and reliability.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.

Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and protocols.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a warehouse and production environment.

Regular lifting, bending, carrying, and operating material handling equipment is required.

Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and warehouse equipment.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: 30 hours per week

Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18–$20 per hour to start, based on experience.
