As a Camp Counselor, you will care for campers ages 6-12, ensure their safety, provide leadership and companionship, and educate campers about basic STEM concepts by leading hands-on camp activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Camper Care: Supervise a group of campers for the duration of each camp session. ● Activity Facilitation: Lead hands-on, playful science activities with campers, highlighting key STEM concepts at an appropriate level for the campers. ● Camp Culture: Help to cultivate a sense of belonging for all campers. ● After-Camp Care: Independently supervise campers who stay for after-camp care. ● Camp Classroom Maintenance: Maintain, with support from Camp Assistants, an organized and clean classroom environment for campers.
