Leads the safety and emergency management programs for the facility. Participates in the budgeting process. Oversees major projects and renovations. Is a member of the facility's management team. High School Graduate
AAS Degree preferred
Stationary Engineer license required
EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years supervisory experience in a long-term care, sub-acute, assisted living or senior housing facility preferred
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory, administrative or managerial capacity required, preferably in a long term care facilityKNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Must possess a valid driver's license
Clean driving record as defined in the Arrests, Convictions and Criminal Record Background Check policy, HR-105-EMP
Communication skills which may be inclusive of approach, tone of voice, speed of communication, respectfulness and non verbal communication
Must possess a working knowledge of heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry skills and have the ability to read and interpret blue prints
Knowledge in Federal, State and local building codes and safety regulations
Possess thorough knowledge of codes governing the operation of the facility (Health Dept, OSHA, Life Safety, etc.)
Ability to use various hands and power tools
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
