Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description Key Responsibilities: Manage the full cycle of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial statements. Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes. Manage payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow management. Liaise with external auditors, tax professionals, and other financial service providers as needed. Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making. Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
