We have an opening for the Deli Clerk position at Smith Street Deli. We are fast paced deli located in Nassau County, Long Island. Experienced Deli Clerks preferred, but willing to train hard working individuals. The position entails, taking orders from customers and making sandwiches, using a deli slicer, serving hot food and cooking on the grill. Cleaning is a part of this job, and we expect all employees to wipe up, sweep, mop, clean dishes, and restock the store. English is required. We are open 7 days a week and have positions from 10a-6p, weekends are required. Full time only (40 hour per week). Willing to pay more to highly experienced employees after a paid trial period.
