Large Aerospace and Defense manufacturer is hiring for an Assembler and Test Technician for their Hauppauge Facility. Candidates with prior experience working in the electronics industry are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with soldering and IPC-610 experience a plus!
-Assembles, tests, and/or solders to customer and/or industry standards
-Performs complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools,
mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
-Trouble shoots and resolves most set up problems independently.
-Conducts tests using common and/or computerized data acquisition equipment (i.e. LabVIEW),
-Uses oscilloscopes, transducers, micrometers, oscilloscopes and other related equipment.
-Performs diagnostic teardown and rebuilding of product,
including evaluation of suitability of components, according to customer specifications.
-Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications.
This is a direct hire opportunity
Monday-Friday
7:00am-3:30pm ( Hours are flex)
$29-$40 an hour ( based on experience)
