Concern Housing is seeking an Administrative Assistant to be responsible for general office/administrative assistance as well as certain accounting functions primarily with cash receipts and the data entry/distribution of client checks.

Position: Per Diem Administrative Assistant

Location: Medford, NY

Salary: $21.00/hr.

Front Desk Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assists Office Manager with front desk coverage including phones, mail handling and distribution, greeting visitors to the Main Office.

- Assists Office Manager with completing Cash/Check Log Procedure.

- Assists to maintain and distributes monthly staff birthday and anniversary list.

- Assists to maintain and updates intranet calendar, intranet forms, main office extension list, main office cube numbers and extension list, SHO supervisor list, employee cell phone list and main office staff printer/toner list.

- Assists in stocking office and other supplies in open, common areas (e.g., paper in printer and fax machine, literature center forms, stationary, rest room, etc).

- Assists with processing purchase requests for all office purchase.

Assists with processing work orders for maintenance issues at main office.

Assists in keeping the office neat and orderly (e.g., reception area, waiting room, office equipment room, conference room, kitchenette, and all other common areas).

- Assists main office administrative staff by typing, faxing and/or copying documents, letters, etc., as needed.

- Assists all departments on an as needed basis with approval of the immediate supervisor.

- Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.

Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma with two years administrative experience a plus. Word and Excel a plus
