We are looking for a competent Administrative Assistant to help with the running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. You will serve as the right hand of the Office Manager and be expected to follow directions but also bring value to the company with your ideas and suggestions.
Responsibilities
Answering of phone calls – heavy at times
Assist office in ways that optimizes procedures, maintaining digital and physical records (in Microsoft Teams)
Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation as needed
Utilize accounting and office software (e.g. Excel, QuickBooks Desktop, Word) efficiently.
Maintain trusting relationships with vendors, customers and colleagues
Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation as needed.
Handle daily data entry with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
All other tasks as assigned
Skills
Experience as an office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
Working knowledge of office equipment
Thorough understanding of office management procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Ability to quickly learn company CRM (Arbor Gold experience a plus)
Job Type: Full time (M-F) - Flexible hours & Saturday Mornings (seasonally) (Approx. 35-40 weekly)
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (Starting)
