A Rated Diesel Mechanic needed for Trucking Company.
Responsibilities:
Main position is to diagnose repairs and defects in vehicles.
Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including tractors, dump trailers and more.
Complete vehicle inspection report write-ups timely and efficiently.
Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to correct specifications including, but not limited to, engines, transmissions and suspension, fuel and ignition system, and exhaust, intake, electrical, mechanical, brake's ect.
Problem solve/ quality check while following procedures including documenting all work performed on work orders.
Inspect reports, list of repairs and parts, identify root cause of basic failures/ conditions to fix as required, replace defective components, and utilize diagnostic computers when applicable.
Need to have experience with Peterbilt & Mac.
