My name is Carlton; I run a small home improvement business (3 employees atm) based in Bellport, NY. Almost all of our work is done in The Bellport, Brookhaven, Patchogue area of Suffolk County. I am looking to hire one or two more people who have at least some experience and/or capability (BOCES is +) in the field. We engage in most aspects of carpentry (framing, finish, trim, decks) tile setting, painting, drywall and renovation work (removing old/damaged materials and replacing with new materials). New hires will have to be prepared to do [at times] physical work such as lifting, ladder work, kneeling, and digging. We don't replace roofs or work with harsh chemicals.
I am offering somewhere between part time and full time work. (25 to 40 hours/week). Hourly pay, to start, is $18 to $35 an hour depending on your capabilities, experience, tool ownership and so on. Everything is on the books so please be legal to work.
