Distribution Warehouse Center in Bellport NY is looking for Independent Owner operator Delivery Drivers with any vehicle. Full-time work available Monday-Saturday weekly payment direct deposit only (1099 job). You must be 21yrs old.
Requires ability to work until job is completed. Physical requirements include walking, stooping, lifting up to 20 lbs. and standing for extended periods of time. WHAT WILL I BE DELIVERING?
Currently we are contracted to deliver Automotive Auto Parts from numerous of Distribution Centers Auto Parts, Retail Auto Parts stores, Major Auto Dealerships, and other retails stores. All deliveries are local. Quest Fleet operates in all 50 states.
WHAT TYPE OF CERTIFICATION DO YOUR DRIVERS OBTAIN?
Our drivers are required to have a valid license, be 21 years of age, and pass a background check and driver certification before starting work.
HOW ARE THE DRIVERS PAID?
Drivers are independent contractors and are paid via direct deposit only. 1099 Forms are issued for tax purposes. The pay is usually flat rate per day depending on the store, but in some cases, minimum hourly guarantees are in place.
Your first payment is after 2 weeks completed from the day you started, then it will be weekly payments, keep in mind that you always have a week behind on payroll.
HOW CAN I REVIEW MY EARNINGS?
All drivers get a link for the enrollment process and that is a Portal that all drivers get a username and password to access their earnings and get reports at all times.
WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE WILL I USE?
Each driver must have a vehicle suitable for delivering small to medium size packages, usually just a few bags but sometimes several cases. It is recommended that you use a fuel efficient vehicle in good condition for deliveries. Other Vehicles like Sprinters or Trucks are for special deliveries.
WHO PAYS FOR MY GAS AND TOLLS?
You are responsible for all your vehicle expenses, including gas and tolls.
WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
Once you pick up a shift, you are required to complete that time block. However, in most cases, hours are within 8am-6pm. Monday-Friday and Saturday 8am-4pm
HOW WILL I BE PICKING UP ORDERS?
You will go to your assigned store and shop will give you the items ordered
by the company, and go make the delivery.
HOW WILL I GET MY SCHEDULE?
Once registered, you pick up open shifts that become available, everyday we will send assignments as requested
WHAT ARE STORE PINS AND DRIVER PINS AND HOW DO I GET THEM?
1st day of work you will be setup in the system an a pin will be assigned for you
