AI Fire is a leading provider of fire and life safety services in the U.S. We offer national account services via our vendor network at Academy Fire and serve local and regional customers through Impact Fire’s employed technicians.Our hybrid model allows us to simultaneously cater to national, multi-site customers who wish to outsource the vendor management process and support customers who prefer a direct relationship with fire protection professionals.AI Fire is seeking a Regional Safety Coordinator!This individual will provide Safety support, both local and remote primarily on a regional basis, but also help support safety company wide. This person will be responsible for responding to telephone, email, personnel and insurance carrier requests for Safety support and complete related tasks for Safety related issues, claims, trainings and meetings. This role is also responsible for promoting a safe work culture.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support all aspects of AI Fire’s Safety Program.

Support and complete, as needed, pre-qualifications on new customer requirements or requests.

Coordinate specialized training needs & certifications, including aerial work platforms, forklifts, confined space, fall protection and OSHA 10/30hr.

Assist and/or conduct, as needed, monthly Safety meetings.

Be a member of, and participate in, the company Safety Committee.

Support all audits, and employee Safety reporting requirements and corrective action plans efforts.

Assist as needed with Safety initiatives and projects.

Provide local safety support to offices within assigned region.

Perform jobsite safety inspections.

REQUIREMENTS:

1-3 years of work experience where safety was at least 30% of role.

OSHA 30hr Construction required. CHST or similar preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, individually and in large group settings.

Strong attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence others.

Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks from start to finish.

Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Willingness to become a certified safety trainer.

Ability to wear and use necessary personal protective equipment and other safety equipment when required

Up to 30% travel, including some overnights within the assigned region or other locations for meetings, trainings, etc.

Individual needs to live near a location within the assigned region, and where we have a physical office.
