Req Number 141138Job DescriptionPerforms various plumbing assignments including installations, repairs and pipe replacements, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas, and drainage systems throughout the hospital.Job Responsibility
Installs, maintains and replaces water, gas, steam, air, waste and vent, drainage and vacuum systems.
Provides guidance and instructions to Plumber B and other personnel assigned to projects.
Recommends and/or prepares purchase requests.
Serves as a member of Fire Response Team.
Assists contractors in shutdown of services and utility systems.
Performs related duties as required.
ADA Essential FunctionsJob Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Previous plumbing experience, required.
Ability to utilize portable and stationary power tools of the trade and read blueprints.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
